I'm sure the server logs show the requests as just /theDir, so I should be fine. I tested adding FILINCLUDE lines for the index.php files, and got the same results. And, I know I'm the only one working on this, but you bring up a good point. I'll comment the hell out of the .conf file, to make it clear what I'm doing.
