About an hour ago (10pm Pacific time, USA) I was trying to download
Analog via FreeBSD ports method, and the file transfer was so slow I
had to cancel. Is there something running that's slowing down the
server? Are there good and bad times to download? :-) I want to try
again but I'm not sure what time I should.

thanks,

PS. Here's how slow it was:

#9:57pm# /usr/ports/www/analog> make install
===> Vulnerability check disabled, database not found
=> analog-6.0.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/.
=> Attempting to fetch from http://www.analog.cx/.
analog-6.0.tar.gz                               7% of 1516 kB  260
Bps 01h31m^C
fetch: transfer interrupted

#10:05pm# /usr/ports/www/analog>

www.analog.cx actually resolves to vhost.sourceforge.net, so I doubt that anyone on this list could say for sure if there was a prolem with the server. There's a list of mirror sites on he right hand side of the Home page if the site continues to be slow.
