Does Analog have the ability to report on number of users online, as opposed to
the 'distinct users in one day' one I can generate at present?

That is, taking a rolling slice of time and totalling the number online within
that? I know the data is there implicitly.

As an alternative, can I scan a single day's log and snapshot a thirty minute
slice of it, without having to splice the log file itself?

I don't think I understand what you want it to do, or what you mean by
the "number of users online". No-one is ever logged in to your web
server. They make a fresh connection for each page and graphic. Analog
therefore has no report showing "distinct users in one day". See
docs/webworks.html for more on this.

You can use the FROM and TO commands to restrict your analysis to a
specific time period.
