#I# know that, but the people wanting the data don't see it that way. Look at it this way instead. A user comes on and moves through a number of pages in sequence, over a quarter-hour, say. That's one session of activity - perceived as 'logged in' for that time. Two hours later, they move on to another page. That's another session. That's what I need to capture. No-one is ever logged in to your web server. They make a fresh connection for each page and graphic. Analog therefore has no report showing "distinct users in one day". See docs/webworks.html for more on this.
