Does you logfile include cookies? If it does, just turn on Analogs user Report (USER ON). Analog will make a attempt to use a cookie as the UserID if there is no UserID field.
If your logfile does have a UserID field that you're not actually using (every single entry is -) then you may need to create a custom LOGFORMAT to tell Analog to ignore that field and use the Cookie fild instead.
If you post a few lines from your logfile (3 or 4, tops) plus any lines that start with # at the start of the logfile, we may be able to suggest any changes that would help.
