You are correct that Analog output validates correctly using the W3C 
validator, which I think must be the mutt's nuts where validation is 
concerned.  Curiously using Adobe's validator in Dreamweaver CS3 chucks the 
following error...

The tag: "style" doesn't have an attribute: "id" in currently active versions.
[XHTML 1.0 strict]

... but having checked this out in other references meanwhile I believe this 
to be incorrect.
