I see that the reporting results are based on the files requested
from the web-server. Because I’m checking a proxy server to see
which site requests are using the most bandwidth, can Analog be
tailored to report based on hostnames and not the file-types?
The request report displays the requests; for proxy servers the
request would typically look like http://www.example.com/directory so
you will get a hierarchical breakdown by hostname and directory.
Depending on how many levels you show (or with aliasing) you can
limit the display to just one entry per hostname.
The Directory Report should also be useful for this, if you want to use the
Request report to track specific requests.
