I have some fairly large logs to crunch (40-50Mb each, maybe 6 or more
analysed together) and analog is taking a long time (several hours) to
'crunch' these. However, the machine's not busy and analog is showing as
using 0% CPU.

My suspicion is that analog may be throttling DNS queries but this is only a
guess. Something seems to be causing it to take a long time to complete
although it's clearly not working hard on the data.

I do have a DNS cache set although entries will be out of date as these
reports are only 'crunched' once a month.

Any ideas? I see there is a debug +D command so maybe I should use that or
is there something better to help me work out why analogue is so quiet?

Thx.../Iain
