The version of AdBlock itself is not significant; what is significant is the filter subscription, which is a set of URL patterns and element selectors that AdBlock will block. The most popular one (and the one that is installed by default) is EasyList, and I do not see EventLogging in its list:
https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/easylist.txt Other filter subscriptions are listed here: https://easylist.adblockplus.org/en/ I checked the popular English-language ones and did not see EventLogging filtering. bits.wikimedia.org/geoiplookup and meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:RecordImpression are filtered, but the fundraising team should be aware of that already.
