A very nice person pointed me to how you can get the coordinates from the
API.  For example, if you need them for Paris, you can look at this query:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&format=json&prop=coordinates&list=&titles=Paris

And in general, just substitute the page title you need for Paris and use
the project you need instead of en.wikipedia.org
