I think you could use a BitmapDrawable. There apparently is a
constructor that takes either a filename string or an InputStream. You
could probably use either:
http://code.google.com/android/reference/android/graphics/drawable/BitmapDrawable.html#BitmapDrawable(java.lang.String)
