This is sort of hilarious, in a rather painful way. Yes, it's a _major_
security issue, and it underscores the not-ready-for-prime-time-ness of the
platform, sadly.

(This won't actually make it onto the mailing list, since Dan Morrill
decided to "moderate" me for actually attempting to discuss things on the
android-discuss list...)
