Sorry for all the basic questions, but I could not find any real details about the Marketplace on the Android website.
1) Does the marketplace currently allow developers to charge for their apps? If so, does Google charge the client for you like the app store does? If so, what's their cut? 2) What kind of copy protection is there in place on the apps? 3) Does anyone have any idea what the current installed base of Android is? 4) What kind of response have you all been having on your apps in terms of download numbers? If any of you also have your apps on the app store, how do the download counts compare? I'm considering porting my app from the iPhone and just want to make sure it's worthwhile doing so. Is it hard to port apps over, or pretty straight forward?
