Hello, I am loading some images from the web, and I just want to display the default progress bar while they are downloading so people don't think my app has crashed or whatever. What is the easiest way to do this, I was thinking of just launching a new activity but then I would have to have a service in the background downloading etc.. What are my other options, I was looking into the dialog progress class, and that seems like exactly what I need, but I can't figure out how to display it from my activity. Can anyone give me an example?
