Hi, I bought the e-book "Hello Android", http://pragprog.com/titles/eband/hello-android. It pretty much does what you ask. I am only on chapter 5, but I believe it has been a very good and well paced introduction to Android development. The combination of Andoroid API, Java and Eclipse can be a bit overwhelming if you are new to all of them. So, my suggestion is to accept the fact that it may be a little overwhelming at first and jump on in anyway.
I use Ubuntu 9.10 and the version of Eclipse that comes using Ubuntu 9.10 and have had no problems running code in the emulator and on a usb connected Motorola Droid. Hope this suggestion helps. -Kenelm On Nov 14, 1:50 am, shawn <[email protected]> wrote: > i am very new to this type of software, but like to learn, can > somebody guide me for start in sdk or show me the link to create > "Hello, Android" project > thankx -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
