Hello, I keep getting an UnknownHostException when running the HelloWebView example. I have tried a number of things to debug the problem but nothing seems to work.
1. I am connected through a proxy server but I have the proxy server information loaded and I can connect to the web using the "Browser" application. 1a. I also tried inserting the proxy infomation into /data/data/ com.google.providers.settings/databases/settings.db 2. The target is Android 1.6. 3. The LogCat report is: 12-07 13:15:29.043: INFO/ActivityManager(53): Displayed activity org.example.hellowebview/.HelloWebView: 431 ms (total 431 ms) 12-07 13:15:29.101: INFO/InetAddress(203): Unknown host www.google.com, throwing UnknownHostException Any other information needed to help debug? thanks, tom -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
