(OSX 10.5.3): I have re-downloaded the SDK starter pack a few times and this is what happens: I run ./android, click Refresh on Available Packages, and get SSL error. I force HTTPS over HTTP, and Refresh.
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/respository.xml This repository requires a more recent version of the tools. Some packages were found but are not compatible updates. I go to Installed Packages: Android SDK Tools, revision 4 Update All! -- nothing to update So it appears that the SDK manager thinks I need a newer version even though I have the newest version. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
