Exactly. The bottom line for me is that I trust things will get better over time. This is a huge venture, an OS, on multiple hardware platforms, not exactly simple. I wouldn't waste too much time asking a technical question on the beginners list. If it's a genuinely interesting problem you'll get more eyes (and answers) by asking it on the regular developers list.
