Right As Rain..and it never gets old.. Sometimes one has to slip on
the pavement and break a leg , inorder to get the right signs put up..
It was not my intention to berate the efforts of Google, and it does
seem that some are more passionate about Google than others. but
nevertheless some valid points were made.. for and against.. I for
one, sit in the camp that believes if you put out anything for general
consumption then that is a representation of yourself or your
company.. and when it comes to competition , your best face forward is
the best way to go. yes the OS is new and yes documentation is usually
always an issue, but in Google defense, I do not believe there is
room for such sentiments. Sure thing 20,000 apps are out there.. well
done.. and there could have been 20,000 more if the documentation was
just a bit easier to decipher for "NewBees" and things were a litle
eaiser to find.. spending hours staring at a problem when you first
start out is just plain wasteful, espqecially when there is no reason
for it. Breakng down my "Rant" only lends more substance to my
argument that in order to find and learn things.. one has to look
here and there for answers, instead of one comprehensive spot... and
that my friendsg wastes time.. and energy and completely sucks the
feel good feeling one has when they first begin this Android
oddessy.. Waiting days to get answers to questions and finding
information on developers pages that does not instantly bleed itself
into the vein, or versions that have changed where the documentation
has not is a legtimate cause celeb.. So for all you learned Developers
who do not appreciate us Newbees having an opinion.. then i say, if
you know then share.... instead to sit back with your knowldge and
your 20,000 apps..
