I have been providing help on this group for well over a year now... The only reason I am really able to do this is because it is a mailing list... I get an email for every post on this group and I do my best to answer every one that I can.
Is there a similar functionality with StackOverflow? I looked when using StackOverflow was officially announced on this group but couldn't find anything. If this functionality does not exist in StackOverflow then the only way I will be able to provide help for new users is when I myself have a question and happen to come across a question I know the answer to while searching for an answer to my question... Not that I think the loss of my help is particularly disastrous to the Android Beginners out there (some would probably say that it is actually a blessing, really) but I have enjoyed answering questions and I don't feel I will be able to provide the same level of help on StackOverflow. Why is this list getting disabled but the others are not? Are the others going to be disabled at some later point?
