Generally, I think it is a good idea. A couple of other guys and I have a
portal launching this Monday (based on JV: http://code.google.com/p/jvending)
that will allow the stocking and discovery of android content. You will be
able to rate and comment on applications off of that site. You can download
applications directly from the browser, but there will also be a client for
downloading directly to the emulator using OMA OTA. I'll provide an
announcement on the discuss list, when it goes live on Monday. I suppose
that would still give people a week to test each other's apps.
