For e.g. for Indian's there is 15% tax withholding. But one might need
to provide a US IRS ITIN (otherwise 30% would be withheld).
After withholding the net amount one receives will be taxed by the
local government.
If one has a bank account as a sole proprietor, one can show expenses
and only the net profit (if any) is taxable.
Best consult a CA.
