I think the criteria should have been as follows - Simplicity (least taxing concept on the judges) - Least innovative (Funtionality must be available on existing phones) - Must have a screen with Google Maps/LBS (I wonder if the judges knew that the ability to send notifications is also a powerful Android feature). - Most impressive looking (attractive pictures) - And ofcourse, no games please ! We need basic apps on top of our stack first.
