<opinion> I don't think it's that Google doesn't care, I think that Google's tireless engineers are working on a new version (demo'd at Google IO 2010) and as such, are letting the current, tired, old and forgotten system just languish. Once they debut the new and improved market, everyone will jump for joy and sing praises from the hills. </opinion>
