I suspect most companies aren't going to announce things until they at least
know that the platform code they need to support them (and thus the ability
to run Market) is there. ;)

Ultimately, I don't know whether there will be more WVGA normal density vs.
WVGA high density devices around.  My guess, however, would be that given
the number of phones sold vs. things like tablets, that the more common
screen will be a high density WVGA.  Who knows, though, maybe tablets may
take off and sell better than smart phones with high density screens.

And this all ignores what is to me probably likely to be an even bigger part
of the market, lower density QVGA and WQVGA screens.
