I have the same error on Windows XP. I do have the SDK/tools directory in my path and I still receive the error:
emulator: broken configuration file doesn't have 'window' element To make matters worse, I can't kill the emulator process, not through Windows Task Manager, not through trying to close the shell, not with a fox, perhaps with a reboot of the box, I do not like it . It is now a permanent fixture on my computer. Is it possible to use the emulator on Windows without Eclipse?
