If you want to sell Android apps into the facebook community, take a look at ZappMarket. It has a dozen payment methods including paypal, google checkout, as well as an offer wall. Pretty much anyone, anywhere will be able to buy your app. You don't get the instant audience of Android Market but Zapp is a great way to build a community of users around your app. When Android Market finally comes to Ireland, you could already have a good user base built up.
