No, it's definitely not a perfect solution, but it's a completely viable
alternative to listing changes in the market description given the current
system.

And more importantly most people will update *anyway* - updates are,
usually, a good thing. Unless you post: "New: FC on startup!", people are
not going to shy away from updating. People just want to know, one way or
another, "So, what's changed this time?" as Phill stated.

Indeed, no question, a change log would be very nice, like the increased
description limit, but I, personally, would choose the latter if I had to.
