I have one, it works, but adb connection seems to be very unreliable. I was constantly getting an error message while debugging, something about bad response from adb (or something like it).
With a Moto Milestone I can develop/debug all day without any issues whatsoever. As long as I'm laying out that many $$$, I might as well get one that I can use personally and shop some apps, etc. So would the Samsung Galaxy S be suitable for development work? I assume that a general unlocked version would have all the expected Android built-in apps and would not have restrictions on what apps can be installed and from what sources. Any comments on this device? (This also assumes that I can actually get one. The effects of that chip shortage that they've been talking about seems to be hitting the supply lines already.) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
