Task killers should really have very clear disclaimers and notices regarding the consequences of killing a task. Unfortunately, I have not seen this - quite the opposite, in fact, only benefits (advertised benefits, really) are highlighted.

A way is to save the time in milliseconds of the last alarm and check for discrepancies... When android terminates a process AFAIK it doesn't wipe the alarm off, so we are save there.
