The reason I ask is that I may build a free app for limited release, as part of a research study. If I choose iOS, then I can distribute to up to 99 devices before I have to go through the App Store. Was wondering if there was similar limit for Android. In the (former) PalmOS world I could email my other app to anyone, they could install it and that was that.
