Thanks, Kostya. It looks like I need a bit more secret sauce. The Uri I'm getting is "content://media/external/images/media/30", but it looks like I need to translate that into an actual file path for BitmapFactory.decodeFile(). Even hardwiring "/media/external/images/media/30". I suspect I need to refer to a content provider?
