Dave thanks so much for your reply! I really appreciate it! I'm trying to understand why it wouldn't work... I handled my connection properly to one of the radios on ShoutCast and stored around 1MB of data to be later tested if the correct information was sent... It was successful on playing the file on my PC but not MediaPlayer on android... So that would tell me I achieved a proper connection via HTTP... maybe I'm confusing my self?
About the metadata tags I could just write a function to parse my stream data and give me my metadata tags... right?
