For what it's worth: A SIM card has no knowledge of its own phone number. It only knows its IMSI, which is then associated to an MSISDN by the Mobile Operator. If you find an MSISDN (=phone number) value somewhere in the SIM card, it is only advisory and not a value you can rely upon.
