I am fairly sure that this is exactly the old phone number on the 2nd cellular line I once had.
I think I am using that phone's SIM card, and that a few years back T- Mobile simply re-associated the new phone number (my current one) with the card's IMSI number. If such associations are kept external and are thus not visible from the handset, there may not be another way to determine the actual phone number.
