Fred, We'll be working on a project that may be of interest to you. We'll be developing several Android components that may be reused for you project (voice, GPS capabilities, Google specific, etc). It will be based on the Jt Design Pattern Framework for Android:
a) Java Pattern Oriented Framework, An application of the Messaging Design Pattern IBM Technical Library http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-designpattern/index.html The framework already include many components that may be useful (Web Services, DAOs, design patterns, XML conversion, Security, etc). b) Messaging Design Pattern (MDP) and pattern implementation - Published in the 17th conference on Pattern Languages of Programs (PLoP 2010). https://jt.dev.java.net/files/documents/5553/150311/designPatterns.pdf We'll happy to contribute these new Android components to your project.
