OK, I admit, I don't know for sure that it will help me debug my own code, but it seems that it would help to know what this message really means. For there seems to be a rather strong correleation between this "Timeout forever" message in the logs and the force close dialog on the phone.
Oddly enough, I can't find anything else so strongly correlated with it. I was expecting the force close dialog in response to an out of memory condition, or to a RuntimeException. But neither an OOM nor any exception show up in the logs. So I am hoping it will help to know what UKCC is and what "Timeout forever" for it really means.
