Something I implemented into my app is ACRA ( http://code.google.com/p/acra/ ). This allows you to capture unexpected errors and either ask the user to comment or to log them silently. The information you get back includes the stack trace and the make/model of the device and some other juicy stuff. I've extended it a bit by allowing the user to key in their email address if they would be happy for me to get back with any further questions.
Doesn't answer the reasons why people uninstall your app, but if they do get errors, at least you will be aware of them and able to fix them. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
