We did. Here's the "developer perspective:" As Mark noted above, the "Refund
some money" option does apparently not allow you to actually "refund some
money". It's all or nothing. I clicked through anyway to see if it was just
a horrible UI and there was another step, but no, it just refunded and
effectively canceled the order.

Brill can give you the "user perspective" when he comes around, but I think
he uninstalled my app and was not able to re-install (as expected).

I do not know how LVL would respond as I have not added it yet, but the user
would not be able to upgrade the app after a refund (though we didn't test
this to be certain).

Use a good payment processing system that actually works - like PayPal. One
time a user emailed me because she switched Gmail accounts and didn't want
to repay for the app, so I just had her buy the app with the new account and
sent her the cost via my personal PayPal account.

Of course, you lose out on the transaction fee, but it's rare enough that
it's negligible.
