I wouldn't say that in such a generalized way. I'd be annoyed if an
Activity would be invoked, but I can imagine there could be good
usages, like rescheduling AlarmManager.
However, I for one would prefer an "app is about to be removed" intent
(or other API), so removed apps wouldn't keep all that data on the SD
card (like games or navigation apps, which often download several MB
and aren't able to remove it on uninstall).
