There are a few widgets that don't render in the editor. The good news is that we've tracked them down for 3.0 so it'll work when you render with 3.0. We've done a lot of improvements for the 3.0 rendering.
The bad news is that because the rendering is specific to each platform we'll have to back port all the improvements we did to 3.0 into older versions to make them work. It'll happen soon after 3.0 but not right away.
