I completely dumped the emulator a couple of years ago, but with honeycomb, not much choice, it's all been very slow and painful. On the plus side the eclipse-plugin is getting a lot more functional.
After running the latest updates this morning (android and eclipse), it takes three or four emulator starts to get eclipse to find it. The previous version worked (not well but it worked). Fortunately, the xoom is released tomorrow so I won't have to deal with the emulator until 4.0, hopefully a while out.
