Our company want to release an Android application on the Android
Market such that it is only available on a certain manufacturer's
devices. The reason for wanting this is legal, not technical.

We believe this is technically possible (by adding requirements for
certain features / libraries in the application's AndroidManifest.xml,
which we know are only available on the target devices).

However, our question is this: are we allowed to do this?

- The Android Market Developer Distribution Agreement does not
explicitly state that all possible devices must be supported.

- The Android Market Developer Program Policies do not explicitly
restrict us from doing this.

Does anyone have any further information about the legality of
restricting apps in this way?

Many thanks.
