GetJar is very developer friendly, and not that its open yet but the gang at BloomWorlds is going to open a Family Friendly market with a Parental Advisory board etc which will vet apps etc this of course isn't for everyone but will provide some nice features hopefully (not affiliated with BloomWorlds I just met the co-founders last year and have followed their progress).
