Maybe it is not the 'best' way of doing this, but I think it is good for 
what you want to do without spending tons of times writing a custom layout. 
Maybe you can do that (writing a custom layout) in one of the future 
versions of your app. :)

Using onWindowFocusChanged is fine, as long as you do the re-calculation 
(and re-layout) once when hasFocus==true.
Look at the documentation of this method, which states that this method is 
called just after the activity is made visible to the user, which means it 
had to be layed-out at that time.
