Given that the APIs for OpenGL ES 2.0 and 1.1 are incompatible, I was wondering if there is always some inherent support for both in Android, or if it was on a per phone basis.
I am developing an ES 1.1 game. On my phone, a nearly two year old model, the game drew quite well, visually. On my friend's newish Droid 2, all I saw were choppy polygons.
