I am not a lawyer, and I am not involved with licensing, so please don't
take anything I say as a definitive answer.

However.

Seriously.

You are calling an API and asking the system to play some audio file from
somewhere. You don't need to pay a license to do this. Why in the world do
you think you need to pay a license to call an API on the platform??

If you for some reason need to further question this, I don't think this is
the list to do it, because this list is for how to use the Android SDK.
There are no lawyers or licensing people here. And really don't think you
are going to find any licensing people to talk with about this, because as
far as I know it is entirely a non-issue.

Note: please don't send private questions to me, as I don't have time to
provide private support, and so won't reply to such e-mails. All such
questions should be posted on public forums, where I and others can see and
answer them.
