Can anyone suggest a technique for allowing an app to provide the option of checking and installing updates without implementing a back-end server? I am currently a small developer and I am loathe to go to the trouble of creating a server (at this time) just for the purposes of allowing the app to know there is a newer version. Has anyone else addressed this issue? Maybe there is a way to check the market for an updated link?
