Hello, I am an app developer and I would like to download the source for android.jar that is used in my IDE to write code against. So, as I am developing in my IDE, I would like to view source for lets say ViewGroup.java. I know how to set that up in my IDE, however, where do I download the source files for a specific version and how? I have downloaded source per instructions on the source.android.com website. However, it looks like that process has downloaded the entire source code for the android system. I am only interested in the java/dalvik stuff that I code my app against and not the linux source for actually building the OS. Anyone else did this before? How do I do it?
