Thanks, Mark, for the reply. I was afraid of that and am looking at my problem again. What about this? Occasionally onOffsetsChanged() gives an xStep of 0.0 or -1.0. Otherwise it consistently gives 0.5 (emulator 2.1 with three home screens) or 0.25 (emulator 2.2 with five home screens). Therefore, I assume: (1 / xStep) + 1 = number of current home screens.
